In partnership with BET's HBweCU initiative, Walmart amplifies the importance and impact of lesser-known schools with "An HBCU Made Me."
Walmart and BET help spotlight the inspiring stories of notable figures who've graduated from Black academic institutions to provide a unique look into the HBCU student experience and transformative journey to careers with Black & Unlimited potential.
We will create a long-form video showcasing the experience and spotlight remarkable graduates who have excelled in entertainment, entrepreneurship, arts, design, sports, philanthropy, education, music, or other TBD disciplines that appeal to the Gen Z audience. These stories will inspire as these notable figures share insights, wisdom, and their transformative journey from HBCU student life to influential leadership.
This production approach is meant to be social-first and interactive. When possible, it will include both alumni and current students, leaving an impactful impression on everyone who sees it in their feed.
AN HBCU MADE is an amazing way to support Walmart’s goal to leverage scale & influence to supercharge the Unlimited potential of young Black consumers
